What Nkandla’s millions could have bought gamers

22 April 2014

We, as gamers, have sat by and done nothing while hundreds of millions were spent upgrading President Zuma’s Nkandla homestead.

We watched as others demanded the money be paid back, and sat idly by as some told the ANC how the money could have been put to better use. Now it’s time our voice was heard.

What could the R246,631,303 spent on Nkandla have bought gamers?

We have heard how many nurses could have been employed for a year, or how many schools the government could have built, but no one has asked the most important questions: How many PlayStation 4s could we have bought, how many ultimate gaming PCs could we have ordered, and how big could our home cinema/gaming room have been?

We have the answers, comrades, and they are all contained in this lovingly-crafted infographic below.

It was hard work blowing all that money, and we did not even spend a quarter of the R246,631,303 allocated to us.

Do you have any suggestions as to what what we could add to the gaming pad? Let us know in the comments and forum.
