E3 expo – what we think we know

E3 is less than a month away, taking place in Los Angeles, USA from 10 – 12 June 2014.

It is the crown jewel of gaming events, and all the big players in the video game industry use it as platform to announce their latest and greatest projects. This year should see another big year of releases and announcements, given that this is the first E3 since the launch of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

There are a lot of E3 rumours out there, and it is hard to distinguish fact from fiction sometimes.

Here is what we think will go down at E3 2014 in terms of game announcements, broken down into 3 categories: Will the game be shown off; will it be playable; and will it get a release date.

Sony

The PlayStation creators need to beef up their game library, lest they feel the wrath of slightly bored PS4 owners.

The Xbox One might only be landing in SA in September, but that does not mean we can’t excited about it now. Just think of all the games we will have access to when it finally does arrive! Fingers crossed for a new Halo and Gears of War.
