A history of Batman as he turns 75

18 July 2014
Batman Arkham Knight

Batman: Arkham Knight is on my “games I must have or there is no point to life” list – because let’s face it, the Dark Knight is the baddest super hero on the block (despite not having super powers).

23 July 2014 is Batman Day, and this year marks the 75th anniversary of the Dark Knight’s existence. To mark the occasion, HalloweenCostumes.com has put together a visual history of Batman’s aesthetic changes over the past 75 years, titled: The mark of Batman.

They have also encouraged Batman fans to celebrate Batman Day by building their own Bat-Signal, covering the top half of their face in a mask, and speaking in a husky voice.

Below is a great infographic detailing the visual evolution.
