Demons and Dojos – games you can play this week

4 August 2014
Sacred 3

Ahoy gamers. Let’s get straight to it and start the week off on the right note: here are the games you can play this week.

Sacred 3 – PS3, PC, Xbox 360

Sacred 3 arrives for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on Friday, 6 August 2014.

For centuries, Ancaria was a land of peace, but the sacred bond between its people and the Seraphim has been forgotten.

And so, Lord Zane – ruler of the Ashen Empire – allies himself with demons, striving to open the gates to the underworld.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 – PS3, PC, Xbox 360

Take it to the streets on Friday, 8 August 2014, with your weapon of choice: the PS3, PC, or Xbox 360.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 promises to continue with the series’ “tradition of excellence” while including five new characters, six new stages, “rebalanced” gameplay, and original game modes.

The Swapper – PS3, PS4, PS Vita

A MyGaming reader asked us why we did not include The Swapper in our Games of August article last week. We have no excuse, and as a peace offering it has been featured in this weekly round up.

Arriving on Wednesday, 6 August 2014, the Swapper is an award-winning, narrative driven puzzle game set in the furthest reaches of space.

The game takes place in an isolated and atmospheric sci-fi world where players wield an experimental device which allows them to create clones of themselves, swapping their entire consciousness into new bodies.
