Swords and swaying – games you can play this week

With Gamescom only a couple of days away, it is more of a week to speak and read about game releases that to actually experience the joy of a new title.

That being said, here are the games that are coming onto the market this week.

Risen 3: Titan Lords – PC, PS3, Xbox 360

The world of Risen 3 is abandoned by all gods and suffers from the Titan Wars when a new threat rises from the soil. A young warrior is attacked from the shadows and deprived of his soul. He sets off to reclaim what is lost amidst the darkness that is spreading throughout the world.

Sounds intense. Risen 3 is available for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 from 15 August 2014.

Hohokum – PS4, PS3, PS Vita

Hohokum will go on sale for the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita from 13 August 2014. The game will be discounted for PS Plus members in its first week, and is set to have Cross-Buy functionality – well, in Europe at least.

Hohokum sees players take control of a serpent-like creature called the Long Mover, which must be moved through the non-linear game by responding to visual cues.
