Games that need zombies

We all love zombies. We love to shoot them, fry them, slice them, shock them, and squash them – all while generally making sure we do not get infected by them.

Now, imagine if we could take these lovable undead punching bags and add them into our favourite games! How epic would that be?

Here are the games I would love to add a zombie injection to.

Grand Theft Auto V

Grand Theft Auto V is an open-world masterpiece, but imagine the addition of zombies to Los Santos.

Trevor and his 4×4 riding around town, taking on the countless undead with his shotgun and road-rage abilities.

I can picture it now, burning them with a flame thrower while dropping a few catchy lines – oh, what bliss.

inFAMOUS: Second Son

inFAMOUS: Second Son already has us dispatching agents left, right, and centre, so progressing to zombie extermination should be a smooth transmission. Besides the normal cannon-fodder zombies, there could be conduit or super-power zombies, too.

Imagine a larger, more powerful version of Tank from Left 4 Dead. Second Son could also integrate zombie boss fights, all under the skies of the beautiful city of Seattle.

Battlefield 4

Take Battlefield 4’s massive multiplayer component, add in some zombie hordes, a few mutated creatures, exploding minions, keep the flag capturing battle going – and we have one epic game.

The zombies could be added to other match modes, too. This is a sure way to ensure players won’t camp.

Assassin’s Creed

The open-world stealth game could be turned into an open-world zombie stealth game. Assassin’s Creed has a great exploration mode, stealth mechanics, and solid combat, all of which would would enhance the zombie-slaying experience.

Picture it: running along rooftops in ancient times, the zombies down below, scratching at the walls as they climb after you, baying for your blood. Brilliant.

Watch_Dogs

The “hacking game of the year” (were there other hacking games?) could have made a lot more people happy if it included the ability to slaughter thousands of zombies.

Hack a crane to drop a container onto a group of undead citizens, open a bridge as you are being chased by the hordes, and unlock security doors protecting innocent civilians. Sounds like a blast.

Which games do you think could be improved with the addition of zombies? Let us know in the comments and forum.
