Firstly, an apology to the readers, in rearranging our structures the “best selling games” feature was lost and forgotten for a couple months, but I am glad to report that it is back and will once again be a monthly feature on the site.
Market research company GfK recently sent us their sales hit list for SA retail, which reveals the top 5 bestselling games for PC and console for June 2014. This includes both pre-orders and post-launch sales.

GfK says it covers around 90% of the SA gaming retail market, and 95% of the SA gaming consoles retail market.
GfK also tracks online retailers, as well as both the physical and online sales of the retailers which have physical and online outlets.
The stats presented are gathered on a monthly basis from the retailers with whom GfK is in partnership.
