Best-selling PC, PS, Xbox games in SA

A new month means two things: debit orders and MyGaming’s best-selling games in SA article.

Market research company GfK recently sent us its sales hit list for SA retail, which reveals the top 5 best-selling games for PC and console for October 2014. This includes both pre-orders and post-launch sales.

GfK says it covers around 90% of the SA gaming retail market, and 95% of the SA gaming consoles retail market.

GfK also tracks online retailers, as well as both the physical and online sales of the retailers which have physical and online outlets.

The stats presented are gathered on a monthly basis from the retailers with whom GfK is in partnership.

To all the readers who are going to complain that the figures do not take Steam sales into account, there is not much we can do about that – Valve keeps its cards quite close to its chest.
