Retail gaming specials for the long weekend

White Xbox One

The long weekend is finally upon us, and if the cold weather rolling into South Africa and some additional days off don’t scream “game time”, we don’t know what does.

Thankfully, there are some awesome gaming specials to keep us warm throughout the extended weekend period.

PS4 discount from Ster-Kinekor Entertainment

If purchasing a PS4 has been on your agenda for a while now, Ster-Kinekor Entertainment, to celebrate the arrival of May, will drop the recommended retail price of the standard PlayStation 4 bundle to R5,299 for 72 hours starting on May 1st, 2015.

“For a limited period of 72 hours, take advantage of this deal and grab the most powerful gaming system from your local participating retailer between the 1st and 3rd May 2015,” said Ster Kinekor.

Given the fact that PS4 consoles are still retailing for around R5,999 on most online and brick-and-mortar stores, it’s a pretty alluring deal saving R700.
