Tuper Tario Trosplay game

Tuper Tario Tros

Ah, the beautiful dance along the knife edge of copyright infringement. Since this month heralds Super Mario Bros. 25th birthday, it seemed apt to present a Mario themed game. This one has a unique twist however – it’s also Tetris. Now that you’ve picked yourself up off the floor, I can explain that things start out very Mario-like, but soon enough, players will have to switch to Tetris mode and build their own platforming level. There are coins to collect, Goombas to stomp, mushrooms to eat, and 8-bit music to snap your fingers to. It’s brilliant.

Nudoplay game

Nudo

Nudo is a puzzle game in which players control a little guy who is supposedly running about on top of a Rubik’s cube. Players will have to shift blocks around in order to create a path to collectibles and then the exit. Certain rules about the movement of blocks are learnt through trial and error. It’s good for about an hour of mind-bending.

Dragon Age: Journeysplay game

Dragon Age: Journeys

Can’t get enough Dragon Age related gaming content? Too cheap to buy a new GPU but still wonder what all the fuss is about? This is the spinoff browser game for you! Journeys is a pretty cool browser RPG, albeit understandably simplified from the full Dragon Age title. All the Dragon Age core ingredients are present though, and fans of the game will feel right at home.

Steak and Jake play game

Steak and Jake

Jake, the color-changing bird, must protect his clumsy friend Steak from a rainbow of problems. Steak is a cow on a mission, delivering the freshest milk possible to thirsty customers. Obstacles and enemies of various colours block Steak’s path, and Jake will need to solve a colour-matching puzzle in order to change color and interact with those coloured objects and enemies. The whole thing is pretty colourful.

The gameplay can be categorized as a puzzle-platformer, and there are dozens of enemies and hundreds of levels according to the developers. There are also 30 challenges, 30 milk races, and spendable Cow Cash. Need I say more?

Hanamushiplay game

Hanamushi

Weird Japanese flash games are pretty cool and interesting, and Hanamushi is right up that alley. Players will quickly discover that they are dolls in need of a wardrobe. As one explores the crazy game world, more clothes are discovered. Dressing your doll in certain clothing combinations solves puzzles. There are also some in-game links to external YouTube videos full of other weird stuff. The whole thing is pretty crazy, yet intriguing.
