The weekend is here once again and some of South Africa’s tech and lifestyle stores are offering up some pretty interesting deals to taunt gamers’ wallets.

Here’s the best of the best this week:

PS4 special (Orange ZA online store) – R5,337

Orange is pushing hard with its online store, and the new retailer has a standalone PlayStation 4 console at R5,337.

Xbox 360 4GB special (House & Home) – R1,949

If you’re still looking to pick up a slightly older-gen console to enjoy the backlog of great games, House & Home has one of the best specials, which features a 4GB Xbox 460 super-slim console for R1,949.

Xbox One bundle (Incredible Connection) – R6,599.90.

Another Xbox One bundle deal this weekend includes a Xbox One console, two controllers, Killer Instinct and one other game (you have the choice of either Forza Horizon 2 or Halo: The Master Chief Collection), all for R6,599.90.

PS3 super-slim console and games bundle (Dion Wired) – R3,300

A different option for a PS3 special comes from Dion Wired, who is offering a 12GB console, two controllers and two games (Rugby 15 and PlayStation All Stars: Battle Royale) for R3,300. Given that Rugby 15 isn’t a great game, it’s hard to recommend, but getting it and PlayStation All Stars for a little more isn’t a bad option to consider.
