While Sony had a brilliant showing with announcements for Shenmue 3, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Horizon: Zero Dawn and The Last Guardian.
Square Enix had a few surprises up their sleeve with a Kingdoms Heart 3 gameplay trailer and a NieR sequel of all things.
Of course, Square Enix also had some awesome games on show like Just Cause 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Dues Ex: Mankind Divided.
Just Cause 3
Square Enix kicked of the show with Just Cause 3. We were treated to a gameplay video that showed off the game’s gigantic open world and really gave us an insight to scale of this sandbox title.
The trailer was full of explosions, actions, and destruction. Everything we love about the series.
The map is 400 square miles making it a vast tropical island.
Rico can tether together multiple grapple hooks that with its manual retraction system allows you to bring helicopters to the ground with your arm.
It was also noted that Rico will have an unlimited supply of C4 and grenades, so there is really no excuse not to blow everything up.
Just Cause 3 was also dated for December 1st, 2015 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
NieR Sequel
Square Enix showed off a NieR sequel in a brief artwork trailer.
The trailer showed off some big names from previous games. Developers from Platinum Games, the director of Drakengard, and even character creators from Dragon Quest.
The game is still very early in development, thus no gameplay was shown.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
We got a look at some of the behind the scenes progress that went into creating the game.
Facial animation and body movement tracking, among other elements, were covered quite thoroughly in the video.
Besides the gameplay that we saw back at the Xbox One event, there was very little shown off.
Lara Craft Go
Square Enix revealed a mobile version of Tomb Raider.
Now before you go and think that it is an endless runner, those of you who have played Hitman Go will recognise the similarities between the two.
Think of it as a Tomb Raider styled Hitman Go.

The trailer was amazing!

Final Fantasy Portal App
Square Enix announced an app coming to iOS and Android. It would serve as the basis for everything Final Fantasy related.
When saying this, we actually have no idea if it is going to be a lore app, or just a news app.
But apps are cool, so we don’t care.

Tokyo RPG Factory
