The weekend is here once again and some of South Africa’s tech and lifestyle stores are offering up some pretty interesting deals to taunt gamers’ wallets.

EA game specials (Game 4 U) – various prices
Game 4 U is running a promotion on EA games, slashing the prices on some of the biggest titles. The below games are available on PS4, Xbox One,
EA game specials (BT Games) – various prices
BT Games has also discounted some EA games for this weekend, giving specials on NBA Live 15 (Xbox One, PS4), FIFA 15 (Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, PC), and NHL 15 (PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360).
PS4 Arkham Knight bundle (CNA) – R6,499.90
One of the biggest games of the year, Batman: Arkham Knight, launches next week, so here’s your last chance to pre-order the special edition Playstation 4 console and controller that is branded with Batman decals. The bundle obviously includes the game too.
PS4 DualShock 4 and Mortal Kombat X special edition combo (Takealot) – R1,299
If you want some multiplayer action on your couch this weekend but haven’t made that purchase for a second controller yet, Takealot has a white DualShock 4 and the special edition of Mortal Kombat X on special for R1,299.
