Our MyBroadband staff recently conducted speed tests around Johannesburg and Pretoria as part of their 2016 War Drive.

This was done on a Saturday – which means while you kicked off your weekend scoring sweet tech deals, they had to sit in a car with people they love saying goodbye to on a Friday afternoon.

Worse than that, their driver – who may or may not be their boss – takes pleasure in driving the speed limit at all times. In some cases, much slower.

It wasn’t glamorous, they did not have any cool road-trip montage moments you see in movies, and it required them being in bed by 22:00 on the Friday evening.

Then, some readers have the cheek to ask MyBroadband staff to do the tests in Durban and Cape Town too.
