rAge 2016 Cape Town hosted the traditional NAG LAN – an open LAN party featuring hundreds of gamers on both PCs and consoles.
The LAN requires that gamers bring their own computer or console, which they can then plug into the network that is set up for the event.
LAN participants enjoy unlimited internet access along with other perks, such as free energy drinks and access to various internal tournaments throughout the weekend. Popular games played at the event included Dota 2, League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Rocket League.
The event included all types of gamers, from hardcore, competitive players to casual gaming fans. The LAN featured a live stream of the DGL Masters Series, so that players could spectate the tournament while they competed amongst each other.
Gamers who attended the NAG LAN were welcomed with free energy drinks from the Monster lounge, which provided front seats to the live stream of the DGL Masters Series.
The LAN also provided an opportunity for PC gamers to show off their unique and interesting gaming machines. Here are a few of the sweetest gaming rigs at the NAG LAN:
