Mortal Kombat has released a series of themed beers based on the popular franchise.
Consisting of a “Scorpion” Imperial Stout with chilies and vanilla bean; “Sub-Zero” Imperial IPA the perfect mixture of hops and malt; and “Raiden” Imperial Saison a Belgian style ale that gives you an electrifying blast of hops and CO2.
The beers are only available for a limited release and are shipped in 22oz (650 ml) single serve bottles (12/22 oz case).
This is not the first time a popular videogame franchise has released an alcoholic beverage, with both Call of Duty (it’s called Black Hops III) and Fallout both previously offering a beer-range.
