Civilization V will be used to teach kids history

Take-Two and Firaxis Games have announced plans to bring a educational version of Civilization to high schools in North America.

CivilizationEDU will feature a heavily-modified version of Civilization V and is expected to launch in schools at the beginning of next year.

There is currently no information as to whether the game will be available outside of the United States.
