The Sega Genesis is now officially back in production, reports CNET.
The 16-bit gaming console is being made by TecToy, a manufacturing partner officially licensed by Sega.
The Sega Genesis is currently only available in Brazil, where it remains relatively popular despite its age.
Some changes have been made to the design of the console, including the addition of an SD card slot and support for A/V cables, but not HDMI.

The Sega Genesis is priced at BRL399 in Brazil, which equates to R1,762 at the time of writing.
my first thought was like why… but then i thought, might be cool and then i think now we have virtual reality existing along side a 29 year old console
