PSN revamp on the way

11 October 2012

Sony has unveiled a new look for the PlayStation Store so that PS3 and PS Vita gamers can identify their respective content more easily.

The company detailed numerous new additions to the store alongside the visual update, including a new smart search system with improved filtering, and options to search by price, genre and peripheral-based games.

Content for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita will also be separated rather than displayed all together, meaning those who only want to see PS3 titles can filter out anything for Vita.

The new store layout update will go live on 17 October 2012.
