Gadgets and tech are evolving at a drastic rate, and the following 5 concepts are some of the more interesting ones which have captured our imaginations.
Please keep in mind, these are concepts, and no information about their production or release is known.
Bracelet phone
The bracelet phone is an interesting example of mobile phones and accessories coming together.
The bracelet would be wearable around your wrist, and provides a round dialling control to make calls. The phone would also act as a projection watch.
HP LIM Glass computer
HP’s LIM stands for “less is more”, and that’s exactly what they’ve aimed to achieve with their glass computer concept.
The computer features a 19-inch touch OLED screen, along with a wireless keyboard.
LiteOn – Heat-electricity Conversion Storage Device
The aptly named LiteOn device allows users to clip the little gadget onto fluorescent light tubes in order to capture wasted energy through a thermoelectric conversion material.
The LiteOn can store the energy, and through a USB port, can be transferred into devices which require some juice. An eco-friendly and innovative way to save and use energy.
Pinch
Researchers at the Tokyo University of Technology have been working on a prototype that lets you combine all the screens of various mobile devices into one large display.
The Pinch concept uses NFC, as a simple bump between two devices and can sync up their screen to start showing a large image.
Levitating computer mouse
While this may look like something out of a sci-fi movie, it is an existing concept that aims to help prevent Carpal tunnel syndrome spurred on by excessive computer mouse use.
The concept by Kibardin Design uses magnetic fields to hover the mouse at a much more comfortable level.
