Penis peripheral game gets 3D Oculus Rift support

Custom Maid 3D controller

As a gamer, I prefer to stay indoors and swoop around Arkham City as Batman, climb mountains and slay dragons as a Nord, or beat records at the Laguna Seca racetrack.

Some may label this hobby as a weird obsession, but I find nothing weird about it -nothing at all. That was until I learned that today, Japanese erotica game Custom Maid 3D added support for the Oculus Rift. Things just got weird.

The game’s developers, Kissdiary, have added the Oculus Rift to the game to bring full 3D support to it as well as full head tracking, which is the Rift’s best feature that sets it apart from any other virtual reality device on the market.

Custom Maid puts you, as a handsome millionaire playboy with a massive mansion, in charge of four house maids, which you can customise according to your preference in a Sims-like manner including clothing, hair colour and other small things like tattoos and eye-patches. All the outfits are sexy maid outfits, designed to be as revealing or suggestive as possible.

The game comes with a special controller that looks very much like the bastard offspring of a Playstation Move and a Fleshlight.

It has trigger buttons underneath, an analogue stick for pointer control, and some menu buttons to navigate the game’s UI. It’s only available in Japanese, so doing anything requires some guesswork and sheer luck.

The controller is rather unique because it includes a white, soft-touch, non-toxic plastic that can be heated up in water and inserted into the controller, along with the prospective player’s… erect penis.

No, that’s not a typo. You read that right. You play this game where you have virtual sex with four maids that you’ve customised according to your liking and then you physically interact with the ladies in the game by… masturbating, using the game’s controller to achieve climax. The “G” button can be pressed to find the G-spot of your virtual female friends.

Visually the game is very simple and rather similar to the breadth of other games like it available in Japan. The first-person element and fully 3D environment is quite unique, but Japanese gamers have had this for some time with the RPG-esque Lightning Warrior Raidy series (kids, don’t Google that).

Custom Maid’s premise is also very similar to Leisure Suit Larry and, I guess, its not as weird as it could be thanks to the lack of tentacles. (kids, don’t Google that either)
