LG unveils UHD 4K and UltraWide QHD monitors

LG has officially unveiled its range of premium monitors at CES, boasting resolutions up to 4K and aspect ratios up to 21:9.

Receiving the most attention in LG’s press release was its UM95 UltraWide QHD resolution (3440×1440), available in 34-inch and 29-inch models.

While LG said its whole range is Mac compatible and supports both HDMI and DisplayPort, the UM95 specifically has Thunderbolt and Thuunderbolt 2 support.

LG also announced its new Color Prime (model 27MB85) monitor with Thunderbolt 2 support.

The UM95 also has a little brother in the form of the LG UM65 which is available in 25-inch, 29-inch, and 34-inch display sizes.

Another monitor unveiled by LG is its “Real 4K” model 31MU95. This 31-inch IPS monitor runs at resolutions of 4096×2160 pixels.
