Comet Computing, distributor of Tritton products in South Africa, has announced the launch of the Tritton Kunai universal wireless stereo headset, ready for order on 25 February 2014 at an RRP of R1,499.
The wireless headset uses the 2.4GHz range and functions up to 10m from its base station which connects and is powered via USB. The headset itself will require 2 AA batteries. With no headset charging option, users will likely opt for their own rechargeable batteries.
Through the included cable bundle, the Kunai is specifically compatible with Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and anything else bearing a 3.5mm audio jack.
In terms of design comfort, the Kunai has a padded and adjustable head-rail, and padded leatherette swivel ear-cups.
The Kunai features a folding microphone which auto-mutes when tucked away. For PS3 and Xbox 360 users ,there are separate game and voice volume controls on the headset.
The headset comes in a range of red, black, and white.
