Facebook preps for Mother’s Day with awesome secret features

Facebook is already set to celebrate Mother’s Day, as it secretly released new features to mark the occasion.

In Facebook’s Messenger app, a flower button will appear next to the text book for a limited time. Adding the button to your message will animate your message and/or photo with flowers.

The app has also added a special Mother’s Day-themed sticker pack, which you can check out for yourself here.

Facebook is releasing a special emoji for the day – the “thankful” for Mother’s Day emoticon will be symbolised by a flower that is only available for a limited time.

It’s not clear whether every country will receive these features, but more and more countries are reporting the new features as Sunday draws near.
