Ubisoft has hinted that it will announce an open-world PlayStation VR game at E3 in June 2016, Dualshockers reports.

The company elaborated on its plans for virtual reality during its annual conference call, and stated that it would “surprise a few people at E3” with a new, promising virtual reality title.

Ubisoft also expressed excitement about Sony’s new machine, and said that they will be ready when the console VR market takes off.

We are adapting our big engines to VR, because, as you know, we have big worlds and big games, but to make sure that we don’t spend too much, we are also using some engines that are ready to be used and well adapted to VR, so that we can bring content quickly to the market.

Ubisoft will host a press briefing at E3 on 13 June 2016, where we can expect to find out more about its upcoming PlayStation VR game.
