Flying car

Google co-founder Larry Page is secretly building flying cars, reports Businessweek.

Page has personally invested in a number of startups involving flying cars since as early as 2010.

According to the report, Page has even gone so far as to set up offices at one of the companyies’ headquarters, affectionately being referred to as GUS – the “Guy Upstairs”.

The two startups, Zee.Aero and Kitty Hawk have been developing their tech independently – with several prototype designs “already up and running”.

It is not clear at this point if Page’s interest in the field is merely a hobby or whether we should truly expect flying cars in our near future.
