AMD Radeon RX 470 – South African pricing emerges online

The first South African pricing for the Radeon RX 470 has appeared online.

The Radeon RX 470 is aimed at budget gamers who want to experience “brilliant Full HD gaming” at a lower cost than ever before.

The graphics card delivers highly-competitive performance in the mid-range, boasting benchmark scores at the same performance level as the Nvidia GeForce GTX 970.

The Radeon RX Series is based on AMD’s new Polaris graphics architecture, which is optimised for power efficiency and manufactured on a 14nm FinFet process.

Currently, the only South African pricing for the graphics card is for the Powercolor Radeon RX 470 Red Devil 4GB.

The graphics card is listed on Wootware at a price of R4,000 and will be available from 19 August.

Expect more Radeon RX 470 graphics cards to appear in South African online stores in the near future.
