While Nvidia has not revealed any official information regarding a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti card, an OC3D forum user has posted the specifications of the high-end graphics card.
The leaked specifications place the GPU somewhere between the GeForce GTX 1080 and the new Pascal-based Titan X.
The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is based on Nvidia’s GP102 core design, the same as the new Titan X, and it features a much larger number of stream processors and memory than the GeForce GTX 1080.
Judging by the floating point performance figures, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will compete closely with the Pascal-based Titan X, and could easily be a more cost-effective gaming card.
It is interesting to note that while the graphics card will be placed between the GTX 1080 and Titan X in terms of performance, it only uses GDDR5 memory, as opposed to the more advanced GDDR5X featured on the other two cards.
Please note that these specifications are currently unconfirmed by Nvidia.
