Samsung has officially launched its cutting-edge 960 Pro and 960 Evo M.2 PCIe solid state drives, AnandTech reports.
Both next-generation SSDs feature notable performance gains over their predecessors, with the Samsung 960 Pro boasting a maximum storage capacity of 2TB.
The 960 Pro and 960 Evo use Samsung’s new Polaris controller as opposed to the UBX controller used by the company’s previous generation of solid state drives.
There is no currently no information available regarding South African release date or pricing.
