Every month Steam releases it’s Hardware and Software survey, detailing every Steam user’s hardware and software usage.

It’s useful for watching trends (like the fact that Nvidia’s new Pascal cards are the fastest growing GPUs) but also gives a good idea of what hardware your fellow PC gamers are using.

  • System RAM: 8 GB (33.09%)
  • Intel CPU Speeds: 2.3GHz to 2.69GHz (20.99%)
  • Physical CPU cores: 2 (46.73%)
  • VRAM: 1,024 MB (34.12%)
  • Primary Display Resolution: 1,920 x 1,080 (37.27%)
  • Multi-Monitor Desktop Resolution: 3,840 x 1,080 (30.08%)
  • Microphones: Yes (64.05%)
  • Language: English (45.41%)
  • Free Hard Drive Space: 250 GB to 499 GB (25.65%)
  • Total Hard Drive Space: 250 GB to 499 GB (28.67%)
  • VR Headset: HTC Vive (0.19%)
