    Eish, R5.2k for that i5-6400 ‘upgrade kit’…
Kinda bleak to think my X3460/i7-860 doesn’t perform much worse than that (although obviously my overclocking headroom isn’t as great and I don’t have hardware AES nor QuickSync).

Guess I’ve gotten decent mileage out of my computer being I built it (board, cpu, memory only for the sake of comparison) for the equivalent of about R4k 6 years ago. This factors in upgrading from the i3-530 I had to the X3460 I have now at R350 effective and from the 2x2GB I started with to 2×4+2x2GB at R450 effective two years after first building the system.

Anyway, anyone feel like being a Secret Santa, gifting me one of those GTX1050s? I’ll love you longtime! Longer’n I believed in the real Santa!
