EKWB has launched a new passive cooler for M.2 NVMe SSDs, which aims to reduce thermal throttling of ultra-fast drives.
The cooler is a low-profile heatsink which attaches to the drive with a clip, and is available in either black or nickel.
EKWB said the heatsink lowers SSD operating temperatures by 8-11 degrees Celsius, which the company said improves performance under heavy load.
The heatsink consists of a front and back plate, and is compatible with all single-sided M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs (22mm wide and 80mm long).
The cooler is priced at €10 for the black model and €13 for the nickel model.
