The inaugural Rush eSports event took place at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg from 21-23 July.
The event featured numerous competitive gaming events, including a Kaiser Chiefs “eFootball” tournament, CS:GO ESWC qualifiers, an HP OMEN League of Legends competition, and a Hearthstone Fireside Gathering.
Rush also hosted a NAG LAN, which saw local gamers setting up their PCs and taking advantage of the event’s high-speed Internet connection to play games for the weekend.
We visited the NAG LAN at Rush to check out the impressive gaming PCs on display, as shown below.
Nvidia cards featured as the GPUs of choice for the gamers, while liquid cooling on the high-end rigs and RGB lighting on almost everything connected to a power source were other standout features.
