Gigabyte has unveiled the world’s smallest desktop Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card.
The GTX 1080 Mini ITX 8G features small dimensions – measuring 16.9cm long – and supports 4K and VR gaming.
The company said its unique cooling solution allowed it to pack a GTX 1080 into the small frame.
This includes a custom-designed cooling system sporting a 90mm fan, three copper composite heat pipes, and “heat pipe direct touch” – which maximizes the direct contact area to the GPU.
The card also features an overclocking mode and a gaming mode, which allow for higher clock speeds and better performance.
No pricing for the card was announced.
