All the TVs listed have Smart functionality, so all you’ll need is an internet connection and a streaming service subscription.

LG 50-inch 4K Smart UHD AI TV – R8,999

The LG 50-inch 4K Smart UHD AI TV is one of the cheapest options we found, which makes it an excellent choice.

The screen has a 3,840 x 2,160 resolution and is powered by a quad core processor that supports 4K upscaling with image enhancement.

This TV is fully compatible with streaming sites and has two HDMI ports just in case you’d like to plug it into a DVD player or fancy some gaming and have a console.

LG 55-inch 4K Smart UHD TV – R8,999

This TV has a slightly larger screen than the previous option, but sacrifices gaming performance.

It has a 4K screen with a Quad Core Processor but lacks the additional features that would improve the experience for gaming.

However, for movies and series, it is a brilliant option.

Hisense 58-inch UHD Smart TV – R9,799

The Hisense 58-inch UHD Smart TV is the next most expensive and comes with more flexibility and a slightly larger screen.

This TV boasts three HDMI ports, a 3,840 x 2,160 resolution, and a 60H refresh rate for gaming.

While the larger screen is its primary draw, this TV also comes with excellent visuals, so it’s worth the higher price.

Samsung 55-inch Smart UHD LED TV – R10,999

The second most expensive option is the Samsung 55-inch Smart UHD TV which, while smaller than previous options, offers a higher degree of quality.

It has three HDMI ports and a 3840×2160 resolution.

Sony 55-inch 4K Android TV – R12,999

The most expensive option is the Sony 55-inch 4K Android TV, which is well worth the price.

It boasts a 4K HDR screen with a 4K processor and 4K X-Reality Pro software that delivers excellent picture quality.

The Sony 55-inch TV is one of the best options for someone willing to pay a little extra but not break the bank on one of the premium screens on the market.
