The pictures have emerged on Fudzilla, along with a few details on the new graphics card.
According to Fudzilla, the new GPU will be clocked at 850MHz, 100MHz faster than the HD 4870. It will feature 1GB of GDDR 5 memory which will run at 975MHz, making it effectively 300MHz faster than the HD 4870.
Not only will the card be clocked higher than the HD 4870, but it will also feature improved shader efficiency, meaning improved clock for clock performance.
The new RV790 chip on which the HD4870 is based is scheduled for release on April 6 2009.
