DX11 Graphics Cards May Ship in 2009

According to Fudzilla, industry sources have stated that both ATi and Nvidia are planning on launching their DirectX 11 graphics cards later this year.

It is no surprise that the DX11 graphics hardware will launch around the same time as Windows 7. Apparently, both companies are working hard trying to get their respective DX11 hardware finished. However, we are not sure what the rush is all about, as it is highly doubtful that we will see any games running in DX 11 before mid 2010.
