ATi has release its latest graphics card driver update. ATi claims that the latest update brings with it a number of significant performance enhancements.
Linux users will be pleased as Catalyst 9.6 improves Linux support by adding SLED and SLED 11 production support and RHEL 4.8 early look support.

According to ATi Catalyst 9.6 improves dual CrossFire performance in Crysis Warhead by 11%, and regular CrossFire performance by 13%.
World in Conflict also gets a boost of around 30% on high settings with the HD 4800 series.

Company of Heroes will see performance gainst of around 25% with the HD 4600 series and around 10% with the HD 4800 series.
