New high end gaming laptops launch at rAge

Local distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC) officially released the Dell Studio 17, Dell XPS 16 and Alienware MX17 multimedia and gaming laptops at rAge.

“rAge attracts gamers and discerning computer fanatics from across the country, and we are proud to be able to display three high end multimedia notebooks that meet the needs of this community perfectly,” says Mandy Porter, Dell Business Unit Manager at DCC.

“The two Dell machines and the Alienware notebook are purpose built to deliver high performance and exceptional multimedia quality along with fantastic screen resolution to provide the ultimate gaming experience.”

The Alienware MX17, which is specifically aimed at gamers features a 17 inch display, dual GTX 280 graphics cards, a core extreme overclocked processor and 8GB of DDR3 RAM.

“All three of the notebooks we will be displaying at rAge feature high definition widescreen viewing with dedicated graphics and incredible sound quality. They have been tested by gamers, for gamers to ensure only the best quality in terms of speed, graphics and sound,” adds Porter. “The gaming community is growing fast in South Africa, and by supplying these notebooks our resellers can take advantage of this market, as well as high end business users.”
