Fudzilla reports that Intel will release its first set of 32nm processors in Q1 2011. Production will apparently start late this year.
Codnamed Sandy bridge, the new architecture will mark Intel’s first step into its next generation CPUs, and will replace Nehalem/Lynnfield/Clarkdale CPUS.
Very little is known about Sandy Bridge, other that it will feature a 32nm fabrication process, and is projected to lift the performance crown from current i7 processors.
