New Cooler Master gaming mouse, chassis, and CPU cooler

At Computex Cooler Master had a relatively low profile, but showed off quite a few products, including new mice, coolers, and PC chassis.

First up is the Reaper mouse, a price-competitive enthusiast gaming mouse. The Storm Reaper is very compact and has a low profile similar to that of the Logitech G9x.

It offers eight programmable buttons including a “Sniper mode” thumb button, high tactile feedback (read: mechanical) switches by Omron and a 8200 dpi (dots per inch) infrared sensor. The body is a mixture of plastic and aluminium and also has an aluminium scroll wheel.

Also at the Cooler Master stand was a new heatsink design made to fit low-power chassis and ITX builds. The Hyper 103 supports Intel sockets LGA2011, LGA1155, LGA1150, LGA1156, LGA775 and AMD’s AM3+/AM3/AM2+ and socket FM2/FM1 mounting configurations. It comes with a glossy stealth black Cooler Master Sickleflow fan and weighs up to 580 grams. Also pictured is another ASUS ITX board, the Z87I Deluxe.

It looks like smaller chassis of the mATX and ITX form factors are the “in thing” this year, as the stand also played host to the new Sliencio 352 and it’s a very slick design. It retains the glossy black mirror finish on the front and has two USB 3.0 front-panel ports and a card reader built into the front right side of the chassis.

Moving inwards, we see that a surprising amount of stuff can be packed in, including two OCZ Vector 512GB drives, a Cooler Master 850W power supply, the ASUS Rampage IV Gene and a Geforce GTX670. This case is aiming squarely at the Corsair Obsidian 350D and will be quieter in operation, as both side panels have sound-dampening material.
