Cooler Master Silencio 352 mATX chassis revealed

Cooler Master has unveiled a new addition to their Silencio family with the Silencio 352; an mATX chassis designed to appeal to budget buyers.

Cooler Master South Africa has confirmed that the Silencio 352 will be coming into the country, but has yet to determine availability or pricing.

It’s the direct competitor to other chassis that are designed to be silent and features quite a few features normally found on larger, more expensive designs.

The Silencio 352 has the trademark glossy front panel which opens to the left, providing a nice contrast in surfaces covering the front of the chassis. The power and HDD indicators are lit up with blue LEDs and are complemented below by two front-panel USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, the headset and microphone audio ports, and a card reader. The chassis isn’t very tall and is designed to be sat atop your desk.

The only vents on the chassis in the front are right behind the face, with numerous small slits along the left and right sides to provide air to the front 120mm fan. The side panels are completely closed off and sound-dampened with foam that also absorbs vibration. The front panel also has sound-absorbing material.

Opening the panel reveals mountings for two front 120mm fans, or a 240mm radiator, behind a washable fan filter. The top and bottom of the chassis also have washable filters.

The PSU is bottom-mounted, while a 120mm fan can be fitted to the top of the chassis. The Silencio 352 supports mATX and ITX motherboards, graphics cards up to 423mm long without removing any parts, while it also manages to cram in up to four 2.5-inch drives, three 3.5-inch drives, and one 5.25-inch drive bay.
