Intel has announced the availability of new Haswell processors in overseas markets along with final estimated retail pricing. The new lineup covers one Core i7 processor, two Core i5 processors, five Core i3 and finally Pentium processors.

Intel says that there is good supply available and countries outside the US, Canada, UK, Europe, China and Japan should see their shipment of the new processors before the end of 2013.

Intel’s Haswell family brings little improvement in terms of performance, but trumps its predecessor Ivy Bridge in power consumption.

Haswell is the first processor family to integrate a voltage regulator into the same silicon as the CPU, giving Intel and tweakers more control over heat output and voltage.

The prices of the newly announced chips are down from the previous leak that MyGaming reported on, which suggested pre-order prices that were US$10 to $20 higher than the final listed price.

Processor Cores/Threads Stock/Turbo frequency L3 cache Graphics TDP RRP US $

Core i5-4440S 4/4 2.8/3.3GHz 6MB HD4600 84W $182
Core i7-4771 4/8 3.5/3.9GHz 8MB HD4600 84W $314

Notable improvements in the lineup are the Core i7-4771, which offers a nice 100MHz base clock boost over the Core i7-4770 for only $8 more. In addition, S and T-class processors now cost the same as their vanilla versions, but remain be lower-clocked to save power and heat generation.

No announcements have been made of new P-class processors, which omit the silicon devoted to Intel’s HD graphics.

The bargain chip here is the Core i5-4440S, offering  a lot of flexibility in terms of clock speed while using less power in regular operation.
