Nvidia has announced a new graphics card bundle with select cards from their Geforce desktop and mobile lineup. The cards will ship with a coupon that gives buyers in-game currency for several free-to-play (F2P) titles.
The new bundle consists of in-game currency for Warframe, Dungeons and Dragons: Neverwinter, and Marvel Heroes. Each game is playable without paying a cent towards it, but the in-game purchases allow players to personalise their character or buy new equipment.
The game bundle is redeemed through the Geforce.com website and gives GPU owners $25 for each title amounting to $75 worth of in-game value. The currency can be used in the stores found in-game.
The following Geforce GPUs qualify for the F2P bundle:
- Geforce GTX650 (desktop)
- Geforce GT 710M
- Geforce GT 720M
- Geforce GT 730M, 735M
- Geforce GT 740M, 745M
- Geforce GT 750M, 755M
- Geforce GTX 760M, 765M
- Geforce GTX 770M
- Geforce GTX 780M
If you can be anyone, always be Batman
Nvidia also announced that select graphics cards on the desktop will qualify for a new bundle. Gamers who purchase a qualifying GPU from a participating partner will receive a free PC edition of Batman: Arkham Origins, which will be released worldwide on Oct. 25, 2013.
This offer is only valid when purchasing from a retailer that will be partnering in the program. Details concerning which retailers will support the bundle will be announced by Nvidia at a later date.
Geforce cards from the GTX660 to the GTX780 will qualify for a free copy of Batman: Arkham Origins when it releases. The GTX690 and GTX Titan will not qualify for the bundle.
