We recently showed off South Africa’s ultimate gaming rig, built without concern for cost or necessity. At just over R100,000 it was not exactly a realistic option if you are looking to upgrade your gaming set-up.
A question then arose in the MyGaming office; how much are gamers actually spending on their PCs? Is R100,000 an amount a South Africa would spend on a rig, and if so, is he/she in the extreme minority?
We decided to ask SA-based PC builders Rebel Tech for their top 5 builds from 2014 so far, detailing how much gamers had spent and what they had spent it on. They obliged – enjoy.
