Fudzilla reports that they have learned that ATi will be releasing its next generation graphics card range in October this year.
Like the HD 5000 series, apparently the HD 6000 series will be 40nm.
Cards identified as codename “Turks” and “Caicos” are set to replace the HD 5670, 5550 and 5400.
A higher end card dubbed “Cayman” will replace the HD 5800 cards, although this range may not make it to release this year. A dual-GPU monster card is also planned for release at some stage.
