Lenovo unveils new touchscreen gaming laptop

The “next big name in gaming” is here, according to Lenovo – the Lenovo Y70 Touch gaming laptop.

The Y70 features a 17.3-inch full HD screen, JBL speakers and subwoofer, and solid hardware under the hood.

A stand-out feature of the laptop is its touchscreen, which uses 10-point touchscreen technology for an “optimal user experience”.

The Y70 also features an AccuType keyboard – where the keys are slightly curved for comfort; a 720p webcam, and Veriface Pro, which allows you to log in to your laptop using facial recognition.

As expected, the Y70 is equipped with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LAN, USB, a 4-in-1 card reader, HDMI, and promises up to 5 hours of battery life.

How much will it set you back? Well, the version of the Y70 we featured above is selling at a recommended price of $1,689 (±R18,150) in the States.
