Nvidia has started selling its latest and greatest PC gaming gadget – the SLI LED Bridge (official name: GeForce GTX SLI Bridge).
What is an SLI LED Bridge you ask? Well, it is a solid, smallish panel with built-in LEDs that connect your multiple GPUs together when you are running an SLI set up.
The SLI bridges come in three varieties – 2-way, 2-way spaced, and 3-way – and are available from the Nvidia Store.
It does not look like they ship to SA, and a quick look online at the time of writing did not reveal any local retailers selling the bridges.
That being said, Nvidia has set the following pricing for those interested in a bit of importing:
- 2-way – $29.99
- 2-way spaced – $29.99
- 3-way – $39.99
Nvidia said its new bridges will be compatible with the following cards (The LED Visualizer requires GeForce Experience version 1.7 or higher):
- GeForce GTX 770
- GTX 780
- GTX 780 Ti
- GTX Titan
- GTX Titan Black
- GTX 970
- GTX 980
The three variations of the bridges can be seen below.
Just one warning from Nvidia: “The SLI Bridge LED is supported on Nvidia reference designs.”
Any PC gamers going to get one of these little beauties? Let us know in the comments and forum.
