If you are struggling to choose between the PS4 and the Xbox One, we have the solution – the PlayBox.
Made by the same man who brought us the PlayStation 4 notebook, the PlayBox is a thick laptop with a 22-inch screen that houses the innards of both the Sony and Microsoft consoles.
Ed Zarick, a self-taught engineer, made the PlayBox after receiving a request from a customer, and was kind enough to show it off to the world.
“The PS4 sits on the left hand side of the unit, and the Xbox One is on the right side,” Zarick explained. “The whole unit still only takes one power cord and only one unit can be powered on at the same time.”
There’s a red switch at the back of the machine which alternates power between the two console, while another switch changes the signal feed.
Unfortunately the PlayBox cannot be built off the shelf just yet.
