Corsair is a brand synonymous with quality. The company’s products and components prove to be ever popular.
This is especially true of their RAM kits, which have proven to be a staple of many PC gamers’ rigs and the top choice for builds.
Corsair have just revealed new Vengeance 32GB, 64GB and 128GB DDR4 memory kits, and these are very fast – like Sonic fast.
These new kits are capable of speeds up to 3600MHz and are designed with Intel’s X99 platform in mind. They have full XMP 2.0 support and run at 1.35V with CL16-18-18-36 low latency timings.
Joining the line-up is the new Vengeance LPX 64GB (4x16GB) 3,333MHz and Vengeance LPX 32GB (4x8GB) 3,600MHz kits.
Both kits are the highest frequency 64GB and 32GB DDR4 kits ever to come out of Corsair, and are optimised especially for Intel’s Z170 platform.
The LPX 64GB (4x16GB) 3,333MHz kit is impressive running at 1.35V with CL16-18-18-36 timings. While in comparison, the LPX 32GB (4x8GB) 3,600MHz kit comes in running at 1.35V with CL16-19-19-39 timings.
Corsair’s LPX thermal spreader, which is used for improved heat management, comes standard with all three kits.
The kits are already available on the US market, but their pricing outside of the US remains a mystery at this point in time.
The 128GB kit is priced at $1,174.99 (R19,576), the 64GB kit is $549.99 (R9,163) and the 32GB is $349.99 (R5,831).
Of course, all of these prices exclude tax and remember all the import duties the kits will receive coming into South Africa.
